Toon Town Ranch.......How Cool!

Today Mom and Dad took me to the Toon Town Ranch, South of Wills Point, TX. I got to see zebras, ostriches, horses, African cattle and buffalo. The camels were not out. I did get to make friends with one zebra. Toon Town Ranch is easy to find, just go to Peckerwoods and turn right.

We are enjoying our stay on the East side of Lake Tawakoni. I have made two new friends, Angus and Harley. The weather is starting to warm up real nice. We will be here for two more weeks.

Wednesday, we took Mom to the VA Clinic in Ft Worth to get the lesions on her face checked. The doctor froze two lesions off and gave her a good report.

Lake Tawakoni

We have moved from Whitney, TX to the shores of Lake Tawakoni in East Texas. This is a new area for me. With all of the rain they have had here, the shoreline of the lake is alot closer than normal. We will be here for the next 3 weeks with new territory to explore. Mom and Dad have said they would take me to the Toon Town Ranch where I will be able to see camels, zebras and other exotic animals. That will be fun. Today Mom is doing the laundry. Tomorrow we will be taking Mom to the VA clinic in Fort Worth to have a small lesion on her face checked out.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

I want to wish a Happy Valentine's Day to all my friends and sweethearts, especially Missy in North Richland Hills and Abby in Grand Prairie. Guys be sure to do something special for your sweethearts!
The weather in Texas has been great these past few days. Today we went on a long trike ride through the Texas countryside. We walked around downtown Clifton, the Norwegian capital of Texas. It was a great day to ride as there were lots of bikes out.
Mom and Dad have decided to just travel around North Texas until May 1st before we head North. They don't want to take a chance of having to deal with snow.
Take care and enjoy Valentine's Day.

Not Much To Report

Hi Folks.

Not too much to report from Whitney, TX. Things have been quiet. Its been too cold to get out much. Tomorrow night the forecast is for freezing rain and sleet. I know Dad will really enjoy taking me out in that weather.

We took the trailer in to have some work done on it. Dad had an air conditioner/heater installed in the toybox room. Dad also had the wheel bearings repacked. MIKE... Dad had to pay since Robin wouldn't let you help him repack the bearings last summer, when her mother was coming to visit. While waiting for the trailer, we spent some time in Burleson, TX, the hometown of American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson. Mom and Dad also got their eyes examined and new glasses. I did get to spend sometime in Ft Worth playing with my friends Missy and Tanzi.

We have 3 1/2 more weeks in Whitney. Mom and Dad still haven't figured out where we will be going then since it will still be cold to head North . I want to go back to Medina Lake where I can play with the deer.

So much for now. Take care everyone!

Flea Market....That's A First For Me

Today Mom and Dad had me a little worried. They said we were going to a flea market. Just what I need....fleas. Boy was I surprised and happy to find that there were no fleas being sold. I don't need fleas. We had a great time watching people sell stuff. I guess one man's trash is another man's treasure. The owner of the flea market grew up in Clearwater, FL and even went to the same high school Dad went to. They sat around and talked about the good old days in Clearwater.

We are enjoying our time at Lake Whitney, TX. For the most part the weather has been nice, cold in the morning but warms up nicely in the afternoon. Its been nice relaxing and not even worrying about what day it is. We will be at Lake Whitney for at least five more weeks. Mom and Dad haven't figured out where we will be going next. We are planning to go to Wisconsin, Minnesota and the Dakotas , but only after winter is over with up there.

Take care everyone and keep in touch!
