HI GUYS

Well, it has been a busy week.  We had a quiet Memorial Day weekend.  The park was full.  There were a lot of different dogs to bark at.  But alas, Monday we got up and found out that we had a leak in our hot water heater.  Mom spent all day on the phone trying to get someone out here to fix it.  Finally on Tuesday, she was able to get a guy from Duluth, Ga.  to help.  He came out yesterday and replaced it with a new one.  HOT WATER AGAIN.  Then today, Mom got someone to come out and shampoo the carpets in the RV and then decided that since the RV was clean that I needed to have a bath. So everyone & everything is clean.  Hope she is over this cleaning thing for awhile.

Mom & Dad are going to babysit Kennedy & Finley tomorrow but I don,t think that I will be going along, but that is okay, I will have some quiet time.

All for now,

Road Trip....Pine Mountain, GA

Well folks we just completed a very nice road trip.  Since it had been so long since our last trip, Mom and Dad felt we needed to get away for a few days.  We traveled to beautiful Pine Mountain, GA.  Our first stop was in Warm Springs to tour FDR's Little White House. We were surprised on how small it is, but very homey.

Our next stop was Wild Animal Safari, where they have a 3 mile drive among the animals.  I had to stay in the office since dogs are not allowed on the drive.  Apparently dog barking upsets the animals.  The highlight of the drive were two zebras sticking their heads in an open window and slobbering on Dad.  Mom and Dad really seemed to have enjoyed this drive.

Our last stop was the beautiful Callaway Gardens.  The azaleas were done with but other flowers were coming into bloom.

Since Dad is starting to feel better, maybe there will be more road trips.

New Family Member

Today we welcomed a new member to our family. New granddaughter Finley Gordon entered the world at 1:02PM , weighing 7 lbs 7 oz, 20 inches long. I guess I will now have another playmate.  I hope she is as friendly as Kennedy.  Kennedy seems real happy with her new little sister.

Long time no see......

Guess, you all thought we had slided off the face of the earth.  No, we are still here waiting for the newest addition to our family.  It is a girl but, we will call her "CHARLIE".    Dad has started taking the CHEMO PILL and he is having great results.  His weakness episodes are fewer  and they are shorter in  duration..  We are so grateful. Also we don't go see the doctor but every 4 weeks instead of every week  If he does good on the pill we are going to start traveling again.

I have a new friend and her name is Holly.  I get to have sleep overs when Dad goes to Columbia.  We have alot of fun together.

On the 24th of March was Dad's birthday and Trevor and family and friends had a surprise party for him.  He likes to eat 'WHATABURGER' hamburgers, so they contacted the Whataburger company and they sent everything(all the fixings) plus a book about the company, a blanket, and toys.  Boy was he & Mom surprised.  What a great company.  We send them a bunch of pictures we took.  Whataburger hamburgers are older then McDonalds.

This is all for now, hopefully I won't wait so long between postings.

Merry Christmas

Mom, Dad and I want to wish a Merry Christmas to all our family and friends. We are going to be spending a lot of time this Holiday with granddaughter Kennedy. Watching her with all her presents is the highlight of the Holiday. Dad is scheduled for another chemo treatment on the 27th.  The next day, Dad's sister and brother-in-law will be spending a couple of days with us. I enjoy their company because they bring their poodle "Sam" who is fun to play with.

Have a safe and Happy Holiday.

Happy Thanksiving

Kennedy and I want to  wish a Happy Thanksgiving to our family and friends. We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Turkey Day.  Notice the car ride Kennedy is giving me.  It is one neat car, even equipped with a radio.

We have no special plans for Thanksgiving.  Dad has fully recovered from his mini-strokes and seizures.  He restarts his chemo treatments again in December.  Mom has been a fantastic caretaker for Dad.

Happy Thanksgiving
