LEAVING LAS VEGAS

Today we are getting ready to end our Las Vegas visit. Tomorrow morning we head to Bullhead City, AZ where we will spend the 4th of July holiday. We have enjoyed our visit in Las Vegas but are tired of the extreme heat. Yesterday it was 112 degrees at 3:00PM. Mom even checked the temperature of the cold water coming out of the faucet and it was 125 degrees. We stayed inside alot. I did meet and play with my rat terrier friend Cody. Mom and Dad did a lot while we were here. Mom was good at finding perks from the casinos by getting players club cards. Mom and Dad saw shows at Planet Hollywood, Hooters Casino and Hotel and Circus Circus that didn't cost anything because of the perks Mom got. At Hooters, where they saw the Mentalist, Dad even got called up on stage to be "the bag guy". That was the most enjoyable show. Mom even got perks for free meals. Between the meals and shows, Mom figures they got more than $600.00 in free stuff. Leave it to Mom to find the deals!

VIVA LAS VEGAS

Hello from Las Vegas. As you can see from one of the pictures, I am really enjoying my visit here. Tonight, we went to Fremont Street to experience the original Las Vegas nightlife. They put on a spectacular light and music show at night. There were lots of street performers including an Elvis impersonator. It has been rather toasty since we arrived. Everyday so far it has gotten up to at least 107. I stay in the air condtioning as much as possible. Mom and Dad went to one casino and Dad managed to lose $21.00 so there goes my chances of getting some gourmet dog food.

Dinosaurs

Well, folks we had us a little (BIG to some people) problem here in Utah. It seems that the folks couldn't find any interesting grave sites where we are staying so needless to say Mom was a little upset. I told her we could go to the Dinosaur Discovery Site and visit the Dinosaurs (there were only tracks on view). I told her that they were famous and they were dead. This seemed to satisfy her, hence the picture of me with a dinosaur footprint. It was a very interesting place. They bought me a dinosaur stuffed animal that is real cute.
We got up this morning and the mountain top across the interstate from our camp site was covered in snow. It looked so pretty but it also looked cold. This is all for now, I have to go help Dad with a few chores Mom has cooked up for him. Next we will be in LasVegas, I can't wait.

Hello From Utah

Hello everyone. We are now in Hurricane, Utah, in the Southwestern area of the state, near Zion National Park. Today marks the end of the 20th month that we have been fulltime RVers. In that 20 months, we have visited 36 States and 5 Canadian Provinces. RVing is a great lifestyle, meeting new friends and playmates at every stop.
Today we rode the trike through the Virgin River Gorge. What an awesome ride. We now know what they mean by "America The Beautiful". This area has some fantastic natural beauty. We will be going to the Dinosaur Farm to see the dinosaur footprints, Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon.

Happy travels!
